Call for Roma School Mediators who have successfully completed the training “The Role of Mediator in the education of Roma children”
The Inclusive Schools 4 Roma (IS4R) project organizes an open call for trained Roma School Mediators.
Under this call 20 individuals who have received training will be selected to support participating schools. In terms of the implementation of the Roma Inclusive School methodology, they are going to plan and implement actions for the empowerment and support of both the school and the local community, thus contributing to the educational integration of Roma children. More specifically, facilitating communication and interaction, they will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships based on trust and open dialogue among representatives of both the school community and the wider local community, including the Roma community. Through their engagement at school and community level, the Roma School Mediators will ensure the educational integration of Roma students in local schools.
